How to Know Jesus
SEE MOVIE

How to Be in Right Relationship with God.

1. Acknowledge that I am a sinner. "For all have sinned…" Romans 3:23

2. Realize that my sin deserves the punishment of death. "The wages of sin is death…" Romans 6:23

3. Understand that God loves me even though I am a sinner. "God commends (or demonstrates) His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners…" Romans 5:8

4. Know that though God loves me, my sin still must be punished, and that Jesus took my punishment by dying on the cross. "…Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

5. I must belief all this by faith and trust Jesus with all I am to deliver me from sin and death. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." Romans 10:9

If you believe and understand this, we suggest you pray the following prayer (or one similar), not as magic formula, but as a sincere expression of your faith:

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin deserves the punishment of death. I also know that You love me, and that in your great love you died on the cross for me. With all of my understanding I know You did this, and I accept you as my Savior from sin and death, and I acknowledge that You are Lord (or Boss) of my life. Thank you for saving me. And it's in Your name that I pray this prayer. Amen.
