We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The convention meets annually with control resting in the hands of Messengers from the churches of the convention voting their conscience. Between meetings day to day decisions are in the hands of the Executive Committee.

We are also affiliated with the Georgia Baptist Convention which also meets in an annual session. The convention also has an Executive Committe for decisions that must be made between annual meetings.

The following organizations are also a part of the Southern Baptist Convention:

LifeWay Christian Resources - the publishing arm of the convention and LifeWay Christian Stores - the retail division of LifeWay.

Our denominational mission organizations:

The North American Mission Board and the Internation Mission Board.
